Paul Ryan Courts Ron Paul Supporters

Paul Ryan had a blunt argument for the libertarian-leaning supporters of Ron Paul today.

Speaking to locals in Ohio, Mitt's VP pick argued that a vote for Ron Paul is a vote that will help Obama.

"Do you want Barack Obama to be re-elected?" Ryan asked, according to Yahoo!. "Then don't vote for Ron Paul."

Rep. Ryan quickly qualified his statement, saying "there are many things that Ron has championed that I am a believer in. Especially liberty and sound money."

Rep. Ron Paul, always known for keeping it real when it comes to limited government, still refuses to "fully endorse" the Romney - Ryan Republican ticket. That's because, in the view of many libertarians, Romney and Ryan pay lip service to limited government while pushing for expensive corporate welfare programs.
