McCain's VP Vetter on Sarah Palin: "High Risk, High Reward"

Arthur B. Culvahouse Jr., the attorney who managed the vice-presidential vetting process for Senator John McCain, has revealed to the Republican National Lawyers Association what they were thinking when they picked Alaska Governor Sarah Palin.
Reports ABC News’ Rick Klein on the Palin gamble:

"[McCain] said, 'Well, what's your bottom line?' I said, 'John. High risk. High reward.' And his response, 'You shouldn't have told me that, I've been a risk-taker all of my life.' "
