Police Continue Investigation into Thorton Heights Stabbing

image:

South Portland Police continue their search for a suspect involved in a stabbing that took place in Thornton Heights this past Sunday, a crime reminiscent of late June's Kennedy Park stabbings.

Sgt. Joe Dell'Aquila said the stabbing occurred soon after 11pm at 20 Memory Lane and that the victim suffered minor injuries. He was not transported to the hospital.

Though the investigation is continuing, police say they know the identity of the suspect and that the stabbing was not the result of a home invasion.

What do you make of these recent outbreaks of violence in the greater Portland area?

Recent Break-Ins in Hazel Crest, Illinois

What about the series of break-ins in Hazel Crest, Illinois. Does anyone care? The Hazel Crest police doesn't care. They keep saying they don't have enough evidence. Are they going to wait until he breaks in on someone and kills them. There is a person that we all suspect who lives on Maple Lane in Hazel Crest. Most of the neighbors suspect him (a 17 year old). Most of the homeowners believes he's the one doing it. He gets a milk crate and sits in the middle of the block trying to see who is leaving their homes while he smokes his weed and drinks beer, he also rides a bike up and down the street all day long to see whose leaving their homes. At most of the homes that were broke into they believe it was this fellow and most of my neighbors believe it.

This is so scary to think

This is so scary to think about. This is a bad man that needs to be caught. I will love when this is over.
