L.L. Bean Outlet Closing

Yesterday, I was lucky enough to find a discounted pair of L.L. Bean Winter Warmers.... in my size! I also had the misfortune to hear from the staff that the company has decided to close the downtown Portland outlet in September 2010.
Portland folks who are active, especially those who choose to go outdoors for their fitness fix, understand how sad this news is. L.L. Bean opened the outlet in 1996 and since then it has been a favorite destination for both locals and tourists.
The good news is, we have plenty of time prepare for the loss of the store. The even better news is that there are sure to be great sales as they pre....
