It looks like New England is first in flight. Terrafugia, a Woburn, Massachusetts company founded by five MIT graduates, has successfully flown the world's first flying car.
Their "Transition" vehicle is a two-seat car with wings that fold down in 30 seconds, making it an aircraft that can theoretically take off and land at local airports. It fits in the garage and even runs on regular gasoline.
