Beach to Beacon 10K Goes Green

The 10th annual Beach to Beacon 10K, Maine's largest road race, will take place this weekend on Saturday August 1st.
Although runners can no longer register for the popular event, there are other opportunities for participation including volunteering and cheering on the sidelines.
Founded by the winner of the first women's Olympic marathon, the 6.2-mile race begins near Crescent Beach in Cape Elizabeth and ends at Portland Head Light, one of Maine's most visited lighthouses.
