With 5 minutes left in the 4th quarter and a ten point lead, it looked like the red hot Charlotte Bobcats were going to upset the Boston Celtics. The Bobcats beat the Los Angeles Lakers 94-84 the previous night and were hoping to sweep the previous two Finals teams.
Unfortunately for the Bobcats, they were playing the defending NBA Champions, not the "defending runner-up." The Celtics showed heart and guts, where the Lakers could only show faded glamour and glitz. That's why the Celtic's ended up with the 111-109 win in double overtime.
With time dwindling in the 4th quarter, the Celtics showed the Bobcats that Champions....
