During the times when you get somewhere in the music business, you really appreciate it because you worked hard and you deserve it. However, you also can get consumed and lose any humbleness you may have had before you got somewhere as well.
I recently was asked by a company to submit my music for a possible ringtone deal. After a few days of deliberation, I was informed by the company that they couldn't offer me a deal at this time. At first, I was rather disappointed, but then I thought about the moniker "everything happens for a reason," because I believe it truly does.
Maybe that deal would have not been what I needed a....
