How would you describe your company and its product to someone who has never heard of it?

The leading online food delivery marketplace in Continental Europe.

How did you come up with the idea for your company? How did you validate the concept early on?

In 2000, looking for a restaurant who could deliver food, which turned out to be non-existent.

What does your ideal customer look like?

The full population aged 16+ who order food.

Where would you like to see your company in 5 years?

Offering the best product and consumer experience in the world.

What broader trends are driving interest in the food tech sector?

A significant change in consumer behavior, urbanization, increasing usage of internet, smartphone and mobile device penetration, and the recognition by restaurants and consumers of the value of online food delivery marketplaces.

What excites you personally about working in food tech?

Fast-growing industry, that is built on long-existing industry of food delivery, aimed to convince consumers and restaurant to move to online and drive penetration of online food delivery marketplaces.

Do you believe your city and state supports its food tech startups?

To a certain extent, but most of it should come from the company itself.

What other companies or founders do you follow for inspiration or advice?

We generally look at other marketplace, like Booking.com for instance. Other than that, our founder is a true pioneer in this industry.

What words of wisdom would you like to share with the next generation of food tech CEOs?

Stay focused, deliver on promises and have a clear strategy.
