Alabaster, Alabama is surprisingly one of the best places on earth for vegetarians. It appears that many of the kooky culinary traditions are indeed rooted in this region’s eccentricities.
The hateful haters from Miami sometimes mumble that this area is filled with shortsighted human beings and therefore it does not have solid delivery brasseries and bistros or even fun places to eat nearby. That being said, true Alabamians never stack their culinary triumphs against the arbitrary norms of other regions.
It’s no secret that the born and bred Alabamians here want to keep their favorite munch palaces like they always were. The energizing chefs of the hood have figured out new recipes for salads, chocolate chip cookies and brownies.
We can snobbishly claim that savvy, down to earth chefs cook all the choice coffee and bagels or burgers and fries nearby. They rely on the simplest, old recipes passed down from generations. Most restaurants here hand over their meatloaf on a silver platter because they value your business. As a result, they can get packed in like sardines.
Alabamans have always claimed that the most profound culinary adventures can’t begin until you mow on the first bite. All these tantalizing snapshots will have to suffice until then. As the thrilled local saying goes, your taste buds are about to take a trip to Arcadia.
