When you think of Norridgewock, Maine, you probably think of the curious Mainers. It’s understandable if the restaurants were an afterthought. But times have really changed. Delicious does not even begin to describe these really good foodie joints.
If we lived in a country where consumers were protected from themselves, it would be taboo to live it up at the belt busting restaurants here. Don’t claim you know thicc until you’ve enjoyed feasting here. For all we are concerned, guys with enlightened masculinity like Idris Elba can feast on their special diets in another place. Although they would be welcomed in Norridgewock, Maine with open arms!
This article is dedicated to all the epicureans that told us we’d never amount to nothing. And to all the Homo Sapiens that lived in San Diego while we were hustling and just trying to make some money to feed our families. Still think this town is all about chicken and potato dishes? Think again.
Restaurant proprietors around these parts are rebels with a cause. These delightful diners tend to be bohemian and chic but we’ve included a handful of Japanese, BBQ or Asian fusion joints which serve tacos and pizza to the masses.
We would never recommend second-rate restuarants. So we sliced down the list and are presenting the most indispensable eateries in Maine. Take delight in the future of food and local cuisine.
