LaGrange, Georgia is one of our favorite towns for food. Long time residents have known about these vegetarian and Cajun places for years and new foodie spots are opening up all the time to satisfy demand.
Nevertheless, despite all this, too many critics have not given smaller Georgia cities and towns a fair chance. Yet, impressing food snobs from Charlotte and Charleston is not a prerogative. Old school Goober-Grabbers grasp what is truly good.
To chefs in the know, this provincial civic area has bona fide food credentials. It’s no secret that many ingredients are sourced from nearby Walton, Pickens and Bartow counties. We love how chefs really bring out the best flavors using peanuts and pecans.
Our food experts looked for the most iconic restaurants in Dixieland when compiling this review. The citizens of LaGrange, Georgia have reported that a few restaurants here are secret gems while others are known hot spots for nights on the town. Rest assured, all of them are worthy of Snapchat bragging.
True gourmands must seek new places to dine constantly. Nothing says “Welcome Home” like plowing into a buffet of pancakes and egges.
