Richmond, Rhode Island has plenty of renowned feedbags for millennials, baby boomers and seniors too. Both natives and transplants agree that the food scene deserves more recognition.
There have been big moves forward for the local food scene over the last few years. Restaurant entrepreneurs are really making their mark. Nevertheless, too many foodies from DC, Brooklyn or Portland have gotten passive and they seem unaware of what they could be tasting. Hullabaloo!
Our message to the chefs here: don’t let them hold you down. You can reach for the stars. We hear you can’t go wrong with any of the fried fish and french fries on these menus.
What are they baking these days with sweet corn and cod? Anticipate astonishment. Of the restaurants we have selected, some are cheap and some Neo American, French and Mexican joints are expensive by Rhode Island standards.
