62 People Have as Much Wealth as Half of Humanity

Income inequality is not just a problem for America. The entire planet is suffering from extreme wealth.

According to an analysis by Oxfam (which to be fully transparent, is a liberal NGO) 62 people on planet Earth now have as much wealth as 3.6 billion, or half of humanity.

To put this in perspective, as of just 2010, 388 people controlled half the world’s wealth. So extreme income is getting even more concentrated.
