La Grande, Oregon has an embarrassing number of table turners. At these tasty restaurants, natural allies like salty and sweetness can coexist peacefully alongside rival bitters in an atmosphere of mutual admiration. The folks appreciate that!
We fathom that for travelers to the West Coast, there are still idiotic stereotypes about Oregon. These negative impressions might make this district seem like a irritating nut to track. But to be real about it, this district truly isn’t kush like Los Angeles. The sous chefs are not judging their achievements according to the half-baked preferences of academics from Western Oregon and Lewis & Clark. Although we wouldn’t be surprised if they appreciate the cuisine too!
La Grande, Oregon is a true foodie community and yet the people here do not care if celeb chefs highlight it on food TV. If you want some blissful burgers, check. Great pizza, check. Great value relative to prices in Washington and Clackamas counties, check. The dishes made from plums, apples or apricots are blissful but we have more than that!
We can haughtily communicate that no one but real, down to earth Homo Sapiens cook up all the meals around this part of the Beaver State. And they don’t serve any of that pre-packaged, microwave crap. The residents take their variations of peach cobblers and apple pies seriously! A few of these eating institutions are thrilling and cutting-edge for the most adventurous palates. The rest have a more casual vibe and simply serve up the nectarous classics.
The following fine eating destinations offer the choices you need to eat well and live like a king or queen in La Grande, Oregon. All good men and women are cordially invited to nom nom like kings and queens in the Beaver State this evening.
